Pseudo-Torticollis

Crazy word right? 

Have you ever woken up one morning, and had pain in the neck and trouble with moving it in one direction or all? You probably thought or said “I must have slept wrong”! 

Unless your mattress is made of a bag of rocks, it's not how you  slept that caused your neck pain and restriction. Usually it's a culmination of stressors that include physical stress, toxic stress, and mental stress. Over time these stressors build up until you finally meet your threshold, then one morning you wake up and your body has clearly had enough.  The pseudo-torticollis in your neck is where it all presents itself. 

The good news is that there are natural and holistic ways to help get you better. First, remove the toxic and chemical stressors that you are putting in your body and in your environment. This is controllable by you.  The very next thing you should do is go get checked by a spinal stress expert, aka. your chiropractor.  Chiropractic adjustments remove the stress from your nervous system while re-aligning the joints in your upper back and neck so that your nerves, muscles, tendons, and ligaments can be set free of their tension and so that the function of your neck can be restored.
