Have You Ever Felt Judged for Going to a Chiropractor?

Have you ever felt judged for going to a chiropractor? You may have even been judged harder, that you've been seeing your chiropractor weekly for 15 + years.

People that don’t know what they're missing often think something is wrong with you, right? They're like, "bless their heart and their back problems” as you walk away excited for your next session. They are completely ignorant to the power of a nervous system clear of interference.

How about this parents...

Have you been heavily questioned or argued with for bringing your kids to a chiropractor? This could sometimes even be coming from people in the medical profession. YIKES! People that don't understand what chiropractic really is, often think that the only type of person that should go to a chiropractor is someone with back problems.

Sometimes these people, might even be the same people, that whine and complain on and on about their health issues, SOOOO, you do them a service and recommend they book their first appointment at Cypress Chiropractic, then they say something like, "I heard that once you start going to the chiropractor, you can't stop."

Guess what... Is there anything in life that we get to just stop maintaining, and it maintain itself miraculously?? I don't think so.

I'm sure we have all been met with resistance out in the world because our culture is obsessed with quick fixes, chemical consumption, and it often put's the pathogenic model of medicine on a pedestal even though it wasn't that long ago, that certain professions were literally cutting people's brain out to "fix" mental illness.

It is more common in our culture to wait for a crisis to happen, before action is reactively taken, which not only takes longer, it's also more difficult, and more expensive!  This is not the culture of Cypress Chiropractic and salutogenic chiropractic care, so ask yourself, your family, your friends, or whomever you meet with resistance these questions to get their mind moving in the right direction...

1. If you want to be healthy and fit for a lifetime, how long to you have to exercise?(Hint hint: a lifetime)

2. If you want a strong and happy marriage for the rest of your life, how long do you have to work on that relationship? (Hint hint: a lifetime)

3. If you want to pay off your debt, do you just make a minimal payment 2 times a year? Better yet, 2 times in your life? (Answer: No, that interest will keep accruing).

4. When you go to the dentist and they tell you that your teeth are clear of cavities, do you just stop brushing them? Do you cancel all future appointments for a teeth cleaning FOREVER? (Answer: No)

5. When you invest a ton of time, sweat, and money into building your backyard vegetable garden, do you plant everything and just walk away for the rest of the summer season, never fertilizing, never watering, never weeding, etc. etc. and expecting an abundant harvest?  (Answer: I hope not).

Maintaining a healthy spine and nervous system is a continuous process, and it starts pre-conception. Not one human lives in a bubble devoid of emotional, chemical, and physical stressors. So, next time you are confronted with someone that simply needs to change their perspective about chiropractic care, then refer to these questions because it's that simple.

Sometimes it's not worth your energy. I get that. Trust me, I'm a chiropractor and I talk the tic' constantly. It is literally my mission, my purpose, to help the world to SEE this and apply it to their health and their family's health. When your innate is set free from subluxations, you are set free to live your fullest expression of life, naturally and as you are designed to.

Kudos to those of you that know what's right for yourself and your family.

I SEE you!  I appreciate you! The world is better for you! Thank you.
